Configuring Printerpoint for Supplies Fulfillment

Managing supplies in Printerpoint is simple: Your customers' printers will notify you that they are low on ink, toner or media by generating an order in Printerpoint.

Once you review the order, and make any needed changes, the order notification is sent to your fulfillment department to be shipped, either from your warehouse or through a drop-ship partner.

To complete this last step, Printerpoint needs to know where to send the order notification. This could be to a real person's email address, or to an automated system that will process the order.

Setting up a Supplies Fulfillment Account in Printerpoint

Printerpoint allows you to have an unlimited number of user accounts, and each account can have a different function.

Let's say your Supply Fulfillment department uses an email address of supplies@mycompany.com to receive emails, and you want to set this account up to be notified when any order is approved in Printerpoint.

  1. Click My Account > Users
  2. Click the New User icon

  5. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address. To activate the account, someone must open the email, click the link and create a Printerpoint password. Note that this user will not need to log into Printerpoint after this initial setup, the orders will be automatically emailed as they are approved.

Automating Fulfillment

Providing a manual process to fulfill orders is great, but where Printerpoint customers get really excited is when we talk about integrating fulfillment into another ERP system that already handles ordering. Some systems used by Printerpoint customers for fulfillment include:

  • Sage
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Profits Plus
  • SAP
  • Oracle
  • Netsuite
  • eAutomate
  • Prophet 21

Printerpoint order notifications include key information needed for integration, including:

  • Customer Account ID
  • Printer Asset ID
  • Product SKU
  • Quantity
  • Shipping Address
  • and more

Integration support is provided as a professional service, contact your Sepialine account rep or send an email to sales@printerpoint.com for more information.
