Assigning a Service Alert to a Technician


If you assign a service alert to a technician, the alert will be not be displayed in the Daily Digest email or shown as a Critical/Warning alert anymore. The technician will receive an email, and see a notification of the case when they log into Printerpoint.

  • Click the printer name in the left navigation to show the details of the alert
  • Click the box next to the alert and click "Create a Case"
  • Select a Technician from the drop down list. This list shows all Printerpoint users on your account.
  • The alert now appears as an assigned case.
